Folklore I

It is said that the dragon and tiger mountain is a place where the dragon and the tiger occupy and leap. There are 100 tigers and 100 dragons in total. They have different expressions and show their own magical powers. There are nine tigers and one dragon in the stone wall. Let's see how many we can tell. According to the local people, if you can identify one tiger, it means that you are a smart man; if you can identify two to three tigers, it means that you have talent and virtue; if you can identify four to five tigers, it means that you have high prestige; if you can identify seven to nine tigers, it means that you must be a talented man and a good official; if you can identify nine tigers and one dragon in one go, you must be a real dragon. It is said that when Zhang Tianshi identified the nine tigers and one dragon tail, he was called the "ghost king" by the people. When Emperor Qianlong traveled to Longhu Mountain in the south of the Yangtze River, the nine tigers and one dragon were vivid in front of his eyes. We are lucky to be here. We might as well count it carefully and test our talents.

The mountain on the east bank is dark red, and many concave parts are slightly lighter. When three or four caves are close together, a face mask with rich facial expressions is formed. There are many facial expressions on the surface of the mountain, and the facial expressions are different. Therefore, the mountain is called "face mask stone wall". There are 108 different facial makeup inlaid here. It is said that it is the facial makeup of 108 heroes in "outlaws of the marsh", such as leopard head Lin Chong, flower monk Lu Zhishen, green faced beast Yang Zhi, Black Whirlwind Li Kui, etc. Why do the faces of 108 heroes stay here? As we all know, the first time in Outlaws of the marsh that "Zhang Tianshi prayed for the plague, and Hong Taiwei mistakenly walked away from the demon" wrote the story that took place in Longhu Mountain. At that time, under the order of emperor Renzong of the Song Dynasty, Hong Taiwei went to Longhu Mountain to ask Tianshi Zhang to come to Beijing to pray for the plague. He didn't want to miss the 36 member Tiangang star, 72 Disha stars, and a total of 108 demons, which were locked in Zhenyao well by immortal Dongxuan, the ancient Tianshi. After the "demon king" was born, he became the 108 generals of Liangshan. So Longhushan is the birthplace of Liangshan heroes. But according to legend, it was 118 generals that Hong Taiwei released. Half a day later, they made a hundred and ten golden lights in the air. When Zhang Tianshi was in Beijing, he felt it and quickly recited a mantra to capture it. Ten of them struggled to resist the magic power of the Heavenly Master, and the other 108 escaped. After all, the ten demon kings could not defeat Zhang Tianshi's magic power, and were subdued one by one by Zhang Tianshi, enlightening the "ten mustn't" landscape of Jackie Chan and Hushan. For this reason, there is a local folk saying that "ten are not allowed in the dragon and tiger mountains, if there is one, the world will get it.". The other 108 demons were not able to capture them, so they drew pictures and recorded them on the wall of the mountain to represent the world. Because the river was the main traffic artery at that time, there were a lot of people coming and going. This is a chapter of "outlaws of the marsh", which is popular among the people. Of course, it has historical limitations. This is also the origin of the mountain.
