Guanshan Forest Park

Guanshan Forest Park

Guanshan Forest Park is located in the east slope of Baokang County, with an area of more than 6000 mu and a forest coverage rate of 97.1%. The good ecological environment has bred 565 species of woody plants belonging to 238 genera of 92 families and more than 100 species of national key protected tree species. It is a rare rare herbarium in Hubei and even central China. Guanshan Forest Park is located in the suburb of Baokang County, about 1 km away. From Xiangfan Chengtu bus station to Baokang, you can walk or take a taxi to the park.

Development history

Guanshan was bought by the county office as an official forest farm in the third year of Xianfeng (1853 A.D.) in the Qing Dynasty. After more than a century of closing, the forest area has reached 3.6 square kilometers. Today, it covers the sky, has towering ancient trees, more than 100 kinds of rare plants and more than 30 kinds of precious animals. This big forest, unlike other gardens, does not need to concentrate the natural landscape with "one spoon instead of water, one fist instead of mountain". It is completely freehand to show the beauty of nature.

Guanshan Wudaoliang liutiaogou, like a group of landscape bonsai, is fixed between the green. In the shade, the big forest, which changes in spring, summer, autumn and winter, is its most fashionable clothing. The flowers, plants and trees distributed among them are like oil colored pens, which make the mountains colorful.

Guanshan water is a natural stream formed by mountain springs, rain and dew. It is clear and pleasant all year round. It is just like the popular Lu You's poem "mountains and rivers are complex, there is no way to doubt, and there is another village with hidden willows and bright flowers".

Guanshan tea is a special product of Guanshan. Famous teas such as Yunwu fried green tea, Yunwu fried green tea and Guanshan Yunwu Maojian are all produced here. There are a large number of high-quality tea gardens all over the mountain, and there are a group of technical talents and workers in the field Art, the "tiger roaring spring" on the top of Guanshan Mountain, has the legend of "tiger roaring in the spring". It is said that South China tigers once haunted the dashiwao area of Guanshan Mountain, and often drank and roared beside the huge stones more than one foot high in the forest. The nature's uncanny craftsmanship opens the stream and draws the spring, making a strong "tea culture" of Guanshan.

There is a valley in Guanshan, which is called Mingcui. At the bottom of the valley, the spring water is murmuring all over the bamboo sea, and a hundred birds are contending with each other. There are only 20 or 30 kinds of birds that can name, but more can't. Throughout the year, from morning till night, after you sing, I come to the stage and sing the pleasant sounds of nature at will and with passion.

Guanshan forest is mainly composed of pine, fir, cypress, oak, tea, bamboo and catalpa. It is an ideal forest bath and a natural oxygen bar.
