Zhongpu township is located in the south of Jiayi County, Taiwan Province, adjacent to the East District of Jiayi city in the north, Shuishang Township in the west, lianfanlu Township in the northeast, Dapu Township in the southeast, and Baihe District of Tainan City in the south. This area was originally the living area of the Zou people in Taiwan. In the Qing Dynasty, there was a general affairs administration to manage the affairs and trade of the aborigines. In 1920, the local government of Taiwan reformed and set up "Zhongpu village" in this township, which was under the jurisdiction of Jiayi County in Tainan Prefecture. Zhongpu Township, Tainan County, was set up in the early postwar period. It was changed to Zhongpu Township, Jiayi County, Taiwan Province in 1950.

Located in Zhongpu Township, Jiayi County, Shekou village is the result of the reconstruction of the original Wufeng memorial garden.
