Shanghai Sibo vocational and technical college is an independent full-time higher vocational and technical college established with the approval of Shanghai Municipal People's Government in 2003. Covering an area of 500 mu, the school has completed 110000 square meters of buildings and 35000 square meters of projects under construction. In August 2012, it was approved by the Municipal Education Commission as the construction unit of Shanghai characteristic (demonstration) colleges.
