Shanghai Lida vocational and technical college is a full-time private college established with the approval of Shanghai Municipal People's government. It is included in the national unified enrollment plan. It enrolls students from 27 provinces and autonomous regions in China, and has the qualification of independently issuing national college diploma.

The school is located in Songjiang District, Shanghai, covering an area of 506.7 mu, with a total area of 210000 square meters. It also has a teaching base for overseas study in Canada. The whole campus creates a quiet and comfortable learning and living atmosphere with European architectural style and elegant landscape.

At present, the school has more than 6500 students, offering 33 majors (including directions), including "international business", "customs declaration and international freight", "exhibition planning and management", "nursing", "computer application technology", "mechatronics technology", "accounting" and "art design", including 6 "085" project key construction majors of Shanghai Vocational College and 2 Hong Kong Macao Taiwan cooperation majors.

The school attaches great importance to the cultivation of vocational skills and implements the "double certificate" assessment system. Due to its standard running and distinctive characteristics, the university has been supported by the special fund of central finance and Shanghai finance for many years. The university implements the open school running strategy and deep cooperation with universities in Taiwan. Each secondary college selects one undergraduate university in Taiwan according to its professional characteristics, implements the dual Dean responsibility system and dual professional director responsibility system in mainland China and Taiwan, and gradually forms a multi-level and all-round good mechanism for Cross-Strait Higher Vocational Education Cooperation through mutual visits between teachers and students, exchange of courses, and mutual recognition of credits. In 2014, as a higher vocational college, our school took the lead in recruiting students from Taiwan through the Ministry of education. So far, three Taiwanese students have been studying in school. This has not only become the school's characteristics, but also formed a unique brand in the city's higher vocational education. At the same time, the school implements the development strategy of "internationalization, high-end, characteristic", and cooperates with the United States, Ireland, South Korea, Germany and other countries to open up a variety of channels for students to enter higher education.
