Libo Buyi Nuo opera originated in the song and Yuan Dynasties. It was taught to Libo Buyi area by Yushi, the ancestor of Nuo opera altar in si'en County, Hechi area, Guangxi. Libo Buyi Nuo opera is divided into Wenxi and Wuxi. There are more than ten kinds of operas, such as "requite the God to return a vow", "worship the Lord of the three realms" and "sacrifice the God tree".
