Libo Buyi Nuo opera originated in the song and Yuan Dynasties. It was taught to Libo Buyi area by Yushi, the ancestor of Nuo opera altar in si'en County, Hechi area, Guangxi. Libo Buyi Nuo opera is divided into Wenxi and Wuxi. There are more than ten kinds of operas, such as "requite the God to return a vow", "worship the Lord of the three realms" and "sacrifice the God tree". It belongs to Nuo Jiaxi type, and is called "bridge" among Buyi people, which is divided into "small bridge" and "big bridge". The bridge lasted for more than 7 days, with a maximum of 13 days. There were opera performances and masks. Xiaoqiao for three days, no opera performance, no mask. These cultural forms are closely related to the specific natural environment of Buyi Nationality.
