Early experience

Lin Zixiang studied in Dexin school, elite boys' College and Dover college. He organized bands as a student.

Acting experience

In 1976, he released his first English album "Lam".

Lin Zixiang's ex-wife Wu Zhengyuan is Lin Zixiang's bole. Lin Zixiang said to the public: "I really love Wu Zhengyuan. Without her, I would have nothing!" In 1980, Lin Zixiang married Wu Zhengyuan, who was the general manager of Warner records in Hong Kong. He had a son (Lin Dexin) and a daughter (Lin Deyi). Lin Zixiang and Wu Zhengyuan have only been married for more than ten years. In 1995, Lin Zixiang and Wu Zhengyuan formally divorced. Wu Zhengyuan resigned from the record company and moved to San Francisco with his children.

In 1983, Lin Zixiang and ye Qianwen got to know each other by singing "Reunion". After cooperating with the love song "choice" in 1992, their relationship began. On July 17, 1996, Lin Zixiang and ye Qianwen married in Vancouver. Later, Lin Zixiang and ye Qianwen moved to Canada for a semi retired life. In September 2012, ye Qianwen held a concert in Hong Kong's Hung Hom stadium. Lin Zixiang and his son Lin Dexin took the stage as guests.

On January 8, 2011, Lin Zixiang attended the "lamusique winter charity sale" held in Tuen Mun square.

From April 20 to 22, 2012, Lin Zixiang participated in the Star Charity Concert "promoting the United Nations Millennium Development Goals - world peace prayer conference and the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region" co sponsored by the UN friendship Council and other international organizations. In the concert, Lin Zixiang sang the classic song "man should be self-improvement" for the conference.

On April 1, 2014, Lin Zixiang attended the "love without borders 311 candlelight party" held in Victoria Park, gathering forces from all walks of life to cheer for the Japanese people.

Lin Zixiang is one of the top male singers in the Hong Kong music circle. He is born with a strong and explosive voice. In other words, his voice is so "choking" that he can hardly imitate. Lin Zixiang has all that a baritone should have, and extends a lot in the high range. The limit of his treble range was D5 or C5 (octave higher than central C). General singers always use falsetto to pull up, some very powerful singers even use the real voice to pull up to the high range, the voice will become shrill and monotonous, it is difficult to pull up to the limit like alam, which is still full of momentum.
