Fengyang folk songs are popular in Fengyang County in the northeast of Anhui Province. It can be divided into life folk songs, love songs, political songs and labor songs, with 300 songs. In particular, "Fengyang flower drum", "flower tune" (Jasmine) more famous.
Since the middle of Ming Dynasty, Fengyang folk songs have not only spread in the local area, but also spread with Fengyang flower drum, especially in Jiangnan, Beijing and Shanxi. At the beginning of the 20th century, Fengyang folk song was one of the folk arts recording records at that time. There were as many as 10 songs, which were all the rage. Among them, "golden voice" Zhou Xuan's "Fengyang flower drum" is the most famous. In 1935, Fengyang folk song "new Fengyang song" was sung by Li Lili as an interlude of the movie "road", which aroused strong repercussions.
