Brief introduction of Russian Basque Festival:

Applicant: Erguna City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region

The most grand and lively festival of the year in Russia is "Jesus Easter", which is called "Basque day" in Russian. Its ceremonious degree is no less than the Spring Festival of Han nationality. Before the coming of the festival, people began to be busy, painting a new interior, and decorating the shrine carefully. A large number of cakes with different flavors and shapes were baked in advance. There is a big cylindrical cake in Dianxin, which is called "guliqi" in Russian. There is cream flower with XB on the cake. This cake is a top-grade food shared by God worshippers and guests.

Easter is a festival set up by Orthodox Christians to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus. Generally in the last ten days of April to the first ten days of May of the Gregorian calendar, the festival time usually takes one week.

During the "Basque Festival", Russians fully demonstrate their love for life. Most of them are good at singing and dancing. A simple button organ can play cheerful Russian folk dance music. Regardless of time, place and age, as long as a few people get together, they have to dance happily. And "Basque Festival" can show the strong Russian national customs.
