Applicant: Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region
Hui medicine is an important part of traditional Chinese medicine. Hui medicine has a long history. It is the crystallization of ancient Arabian medicine, traditional Chinese medicine and other ethnic medicine in the western regions. However, it retains the medical experience, spices and cultural characteristics of Hui nationality. Hui medicine is an important representative work of Hui medicine in Yuan and Ming Dynasties. The original book has 36 volumes, but only 4 volumes remain. In recent years, published works such as Chinese Hui medicine, a brief history of Hui medicine, the profound meaning of Hui medicine, and Hui medicine materia medica have made a comprehensive and in-depth introduction to Hui medicine. Huihui prescription (fragmentary volume) also has a better textual research version. These works have laid a foundation for the inheritance and development of Hui medicine.
Hui medicine has unique theory and experience in health care, medical skills, fragrant medicine application and dietotherapy. Many health customs, diagnosis and treatment technology and dietotherapy experience have been inherited and applied by Hui people.
Tang Ping Ba Zhen therapy originated in the Middle East, and Persian Muslims introduced it to China through the "Silk Road". The main treatment methods include pushing, pressing, kneading, poking, pointing, stroking, shaking, etc. the treatment process has obvious national style, such as oral eulogy of duayi, soup bottle hydrotherapy, etc. The eight diagnostic and therapeutic instruments of soup bottle include soup bottle pot, ox horn stick, ear stick, and sheep horn board engraved with duayi. For thousands of years, it has been spread among Muslims in Xi'an, Henan and Ningxia in the way of oral teaching and oral teaching.
As a traditional folk culture of Hui nationality, the current development of Tangping eight diagnosis therapy is worrying, facing the situation of no successor. The clinical practitioners of Tang and bottle eight diagnosis therapy must have a certain theoretical basis of traditional Chinese medicine, and young people with professional knowledge and love Hui culture to learn and inherit. However, for various reasons, few young people are willing to learn. It is urgent to take various measures to ensure the inheritance of this heritage.
