Wrestling has a long history in China. It is a competitive sport loved by people of all ethnic groups. Korean wrestling has its own unique form of competition and cultural characteristics.

Traditional Korean wrestling can be divided into attack style and defensive style. On this basis, we can change hundreds of attack and defense combination techniques.

Korean wrestling is generally based on the number of participants to carry out preliminary competition, select eight or six to participate in the final. The final of the championship and runner up was the climax of the whole match. In order to boost the morale of the wrestlers and activate the atmosphere of the competition field, before the final, the prize of the competition, the big yellow cattle in red, was tied around the field, waiting for the new host, the champion. The relatives, friends and audience of both sides cheered for the wrestlers, singing and dancing, which was very lively.

The Korean wrestling competition is divided into three stages

1. Etiquette

The players shake hands with each other, the referee and the audience. Announce the names, ages, native places and even villages of the competitors, and the results of previous competitions. The referee of the final of the champion and runner up is usually the senior wrestler or the referee.

2. Competition

At the beginning of the competition, the two sides kneel face to face, holding each other's belt with their right hand and the leg belt with their left hand, and embracing each other's right shoulder. Each side grabs the wrestling belt, listens to the referee's "up" command, slowly gets up, keeps the right hand grabs the other side's belt, the left hand grabs the other side's leg belt, and holds each other's right shoulder in a standing posture, waiting for the referee to whistle for the competition. On the spot, when the referee whistles to announce the start of the game, the two sides simultaneously use the internal hook, external hook, neck hoop and leg embracing techniques to fall the other side. If any part of one's body above the knee touches the ground, it is negative. The best of three game system is adopted in each game, and the time of each game is 3 minutes.

3. Award

At the end of the competition, the referee will announce the place of the competition, and the local government officials will personally award the winner a fat and red cattle. "Hero" rides a yellow cattle with colored silk around the corner of the cattle, salutes the audience with the sound of gongs and drums. His family and audience dress in national costumes, sing and dance, clap and cheer, and then ride home happily.
