Brief introduction of Pinghu cymbal book:
Applicant: Pinghu City, Zhejiang Province
Pinghu cymbal book used to be called "saying cause and effect". Before and after the founding of the people's Republic of China, it was once called "farmer's book". It mainly spread in Chuansha and Nanhui in Pinghu, Zhejiang Province and Pudong, Shanghai, and Jinshan, Songjiang and Qingpu in Puxi. It originated in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, formed in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasty, has a history of more than 300 years.
At first, the performance form of Pinghu cymbal book was "libaidi". Later, with the development of medium and long bibliography, it began to enter the hall. Before and after the founding of new China, it mainly performed in urban and rural teahouses, and the audience was mainly farmers, so it was called "farmers' book".
Pinghu cymbal script is performed in Pinghu dialect, which integrates speaking, singing and performance. Its singing form is relatively simple, often used a cymbal, a bamboo chopsticks, a piece of wake-up wood as accompaniment instruments, singing while knocking. Later, erhu, Xianzi, pipa, Yangqin and other accompaniment instruments were added, gradually forming a scale. Pinghu cymbals are sung in a single way. The tunes include long tune, slow tune, sharp tune, crying tune and so on. The rhythm is bright, full of local characteristics, and the local flavor is honest, which has high artistic value. The libretto is mainly composed of seven character sentences with recitation style. At the end of the sentence, there is often a drag sound, and the lingering sound is curling, which has a unique charm.
In the long years, Pinghu folk artists have created more than 100 traditional works, such as Yang Jiajiang, bayixia, Tianbao, Wulong, caizhuanlou, jingaozhuan, Baihe, Hu bisong, one armed nun, poisonous hand crazy beggar, jiugengtian and shimeitu, many of which can be sung for several months For a long time.
At present, there are fewer and fewer performing talents in Pinghu cymbal book, and the prospect is in danger.
