Brief introduction of mosukun of Oroqen nationality
Declaration area or unit: Heilongjiang Province
Mosukun of the Oroqen nationality is a kind of folk art storytelling form formed and popular in the Oroqen inhabited areas of Daxing'anling and Xiaoxing'anling in Heilongjiang Province, which was formed in the late Qing Dynasty. "Mosukun" is the Oroqen language, which means "telling and singing stories". Most of the performances are performed by one person, without musical instrument accompaniment. Its content mostly tells the heroic stories of "morigen", and its tunes are not fixed, and vary according to different popular places. For example, the multi-purpose "kuyaruo tune" spread in Xunke, the "kuyaole tune" spread in Huma, and the "Yinjiao tune" spread in Heihe belong to "type tune". In addition, different tunes are used according to different programs. For example, when performing "Aldan rolling butterfly", it is necessary to use "when the seasons are coming"; when performing "story of two birds", it is necessary to use "ferry river"; when performing "hunter and beloved wife", it is necessary to use "wife's gift", which belongs to "stereotyped tune". In addition, it is free to choose or borrow various tunes for performance. Mosukun's art inheritance has been carried out by word of mouth. Traditional programs include hero gepahu, baby's last day root, kunmabuku's last day root and legend of deer. Famous artists include Mo Haiting, Li Shuihua, Wei Jinxiang, Chu Tewen and Meng Delin.
Mosukun was an important means of entertainment and education for the Oroqen people in the whole 20th century after its formation. At the same time, mosukun was the carrier of its national spirit and thought. It is of great significance to understand and study the social, historical, economic, cultural and religious traditions of the northern fishing and hunting nationalities, including the Oroqen people. But today, mosukun has been strongly impacted by modernization, and its survival is in crisis, which needs to be protected.
