A brief introduction to Nanping's Ci Poems:

Nanping nanci is a popular form of folk art in Nanping, Northern Fujian Province. It is generally believed that nanci from Jiangnan was introduced into Nanping from Suzhou in the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty, and gradually integrated with the local folk songs.

The performance form of Nanping's nanci is composed of one lead singer and many other people who hold different musical instruments and sit around, and perform rap in accordance with different lines.

Nanci was introduced into Nanping in the late 18th century. When it was first introduced, the famous activity class "jingyixuan" appeared. It has been more than 200 years and has been handed down for nine generations. The artistic tradition is very deep and the artistic vitality is very strong. However, there are some problems in the development of Nanping's Ci poetry, such as lack of successors, difficulties and urgent need for support and protection.
