The original names of Lu Opera are "sitting tune dulcimer" and "makeup dulcimer", which are developed on the basis of Shandong Qinshu and folk Huagu, Xiaoqu and Qiang. They are popular in Shandong, Jiangsu and Anhui. It belongs to rural art, performing farm affairs and singing farm feelings. The main roles are Xiaosheng, Xiaodan and clown. The lyrics and Daobai are mostly from folk language, and the main accompaniment instruments are Chuihu, erhu and Sanxian. The singing music of Lu Opera is evolved from folk music, which belongs to typical banqiang structure. It is composed of "Siping", "Erpan" and some tunes. The melody is simple, simple, beautiful, natural, easy to learn and sing, full of rich flavor of life and local characteristics. It has the reputation of "tie wife peg" among the masses in popular areas. There are nearly 300 plays performed by Lu opera, among which Wang Xiao's hastening feet, sister Yi's marriage and Li Er Sao's remarriage are representative works.
