Zhu's one finger massage therapy was founded by Zhu Chunting, the sixth doctor of huangqiang family of traditional Chinese medicine in Jiading, Shanghai, and his son Zhu Dingcheng passed down from generation to generation.

Zhu's one finger zen massage is one of the most famous schools of modern Chinese massage. It is based on the great works of Huang Di Nei Jing and Damour's "one finger zen massage". Its techniques include pushing, holding, pressing, rubbing, pushing and rubbing more than ten kinds. One finger is the essence of Zen Buddhism, and its characteristics are "referring to needles" and "treating diseases by external diseases". The idea and therapy of "10000 laws normalization", "meridian treatment" and "soft comfort" are used in the diagnosis and treatment of spleen stomach disease, poliomyelitis and headache. It is unique in internal and external diseases such as dysmenorrhea, infantile dysplasia, cervical spondylosis, osteoarthritis, etc.

After the founding of the people's Republic of China, Zhu Chunting was employed by East China hospital to create a specialty of traditional Chinese massage. After more than half a century of clinical accumulation, Zhu's one finger zen massage, on the basis of comprehensively inheriting and summarizing Zhu Chunting's academic thoughts, constantly expands the fields of massage medical treatment, health care and rehabilitation, and integrates new treatment concepts and methods such as "preventive treatment of disease". Strive to be people-oriented, provide personalized services, have launched insomnia, cervical vertigo and other specialist outpatient and Chinese medicine studio. Zhu Chunting and Zhu Dingcheng's father and son tried their best to serve the public health care and "senior cadres' health care", relieved the patients' pain, and gained fame. Zhu's one finger massage has contributed the wisdom of Chinese medicine to the cause of public health.

Zhu Chunting wrote books and founded the first professional massage education school in China, breaking through the mode of traditional Chinese medicine family or teacher leading apprentice for thousands of years, and creating a precedent of massage classroom teaching.

Zhu Chunting is the only massage doctor recorded in Da Cihai (2003 Edition). "Zhu's massage" was listed as one of the schools of traditional Chinese medicine in Shanghai health records (1998 edition). Yizhi Zen massage is the only massage school recorded in Cihai (1936 Edition).
