Introduction to Daoqing Opera (Zhanhua Yugu Opera)
Applicant: Zhanhua County, Shandong Province
Yugu opera originated in hujiaying village, Zhanhua County, Shandong Province, with a history of more than 280 years. It mainly spread in Zhanhua, Shandong Province and its surrounding counties, and also spread in Dongying, Shandong Province, Huanghua, Hebei Province and other coastal areas. In 1723, the first year of Yongzheng in the Qing Dynasty, when hujiaying Village attached great importance to the cultivation of Taoism, Taoists were invited to talk and sing. After learning its tune, the villagers gradually changed it, integrating fishing drum (Daoqing), local song and dance, martial arts and fishermen's songs into one, absorbing the artistic factors of Yiyang tune (Gaoqiang) and other operas, and developing the original form of fishing drum rap into a disguised fishing Drum Opera on the stage.
The singing music of Yugu opera belongs to the type changing style. The structure of its lyrics has the characteristics of "three sentences and one time". The rhymes pay attention to flat rise and tone fall, and "lead cavity, abdominal cavity and lock cavity" often appear in the singing, which is the same as Zhanhua folk songs in the form of expression. Yugu opera has a wide range of professions, both civil and military, and has a unique performance in performance, accompaniment and gongs.
There are historical remains of Taoist culture, immigrant culture and Shandong local culture in Yugu opera, which provide vivid examples for the study of the development and evolution of traditional folk culture. It has unique research value in the evolution of traditional opera music and religious music.
