Changzhou comb is a unique traditional handicraft in Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province. According to local documents, Changzhou comb has a long history, and its production technology has reached a high level in the Ming Dynasty. The comb was selected as a tribute to the court, enjoying the reputation of "famous comb in the palace". Changzhou comb products mainly include comb and wooden comb. Comb, also known as "grate dustpan", is made of bamboo, beef bone, lacquer and other raw materials through more than 70 processes; wood comb is made of boxwood and Phoebe, and the whole production process consists of 28 processes. Whether combs or wooden combs, they are usually decorated with five kinds of techniques: carving, tracing, engraving, ironing and inlaying. Changzhou combs are well selected, well made, beautiful and practical. They are necessary daily necessities for home furnishings and excellent gifts for relatives and friends.
