Brief introduction of Xinjiang Uygur maixirefu (Uygur Tahe maixirefu)
Applicant: Mulei Kazak Autonomous County, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region
Maixirefu is a special form of folk entertainment of Xinjiang Uygur, and also an ancient folk cultural activity, with a long history and continuous inheritance. The word "maixire Fu" comes from Arabic and means "gathering". Maixire Fu mainly engaged in dance and entertainment activities, with a large number of participants entertaining themselves. According to the performance form, maixire Fu can be divided into singing and dancing maixire Fu, game maixire Fu and rap maixire Fu, and also can be divided into living room maixire Fu, welcome maixire Fu and harvest maixire Fu according to the performance content. All parts of Xinjiang have their own maixirefu, with similar forms and different names, such as "Daolang", "kuoke" and "Tahe".
Tahe maixire Fu is a large-scale comprehensive art form of singing, dancing and music, which is popular among Uygur herdsmen in Mulei mountain area. It not only has the original gene of maixire Fu in Turpan, but also shows the characteristics of grassland culture in Northern Xinjiang. This kind of Tahe maixirefu is mainly distributed in Bostan village of Bostan Township in Mulei County, Shenjiagou village of Dongcheng Town and the Uyghur inhabited areas dominated by animal husbandry in ZHAOBISHAN township.
There are various types of muleitahe maixire Fu, including Festival maixire Fu, marriage maixire Fu, invitation maixire Fu, as well as kallak maixire Fu, yamurrik maixire Fu, aktayak maixire Fu and so on. Macy's activities are usually all night long. There are no limits to the number of participants. Everyone sings and dances. It's very lively. What's more distinctive is that due to the scattered residence and the remote mountain road, singers often ride on horseback, beating hand drums while singing with the rhythm of horse bells and hooves, which is quite a legacy of nomadic culture.
It is said that there are 12 sets of muleita and maixirep, and only 7 sets are left. Each set consists of five parts: "azale" in the introduction part, "dankediman" in the prelude part, "Jura" in the main part, "sailika" in the small climax part, and "quxuergai" in the climax and ending part. Apart from azale, which is sung by one person alone and accompanied by an instrument of satar, the other four parts are sung by one person and accompanied by a variety of instruments.
With the change of the times, the attraction of Mulei Uighur Tahe maixirep to young people is gradually weakening. In addition, some old singers have died one after another, and there is no successor in their singing and playing skills. This unique form of national culture is in an endangered state, which needs to be protected by the relevant authorities.
