Basic information

In 1992, Wuxi National High tech Industrial Development Zone was established with the approval of the State Council. In 1993, Wuxi Singapore Industrial Park was established with the approval of the provincial government. Wuxi New District was established in 1995. The new district has five towns and one street with a population of 250000. For more than 10 years, Wuxi New Area has been actively complying with the development requirements of advanced productive forces, seizing opportunities and accelerating development. The economy of the whole area has maintained a momentum of rapid growth.
