Chengqiao Street

Chengqiao street is located in the north suburb of Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, adjacent to the west of Liuhe District. With an area of 121 square kilometers and a population of 46903 (in 2010), it has jurisdiction over 8 community (Village) committees. It is 8 kilometers away from liuhecheng, 25 kilometers away from Nanjing city and Nanjing port, and 45 kilometers away from Nanjing Lukou Airport. From Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge and the second bridge, it can be quickly reached through Yongliu Expressway and Jiangbei Avenue. Nanjing Huaihe Expressway passes through the whole territory. Facilities construction

Chengqiao street was established as Chengqiao commune in 1970 and Chengqiao Township in 1983. In 1992, the township was withdrawn to build a town. In March 2000, it merged with the original Zhucheng township to establish a new Chengqiao town. On February 10, 2010, the town was withdrawn to build a street and Chengqiao street was established.
