Xiahuai town

Xiahuai Town, belonging to Pingshan County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is located in the west central part of Pingshan County. It is adjacent to mengjiazhuang town in the East, Xibaipo town in the southeast, Guyue town in the south, xiaojue town in the west, jiaotanzhuang town in the northwest and Guanyintang town in the North, with an administrative area of 138.01 square kilometers.

In 1949, it belonged to xiaojue District of Jianping County; in August 1988, it withdrew the township and merged the town, and merged pangjiapu Township, xialiujiaping Township, bailing Township and Tangjiagou township to establish xiahuai town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of the lower Huai town was 17689. As of June 2020, xiahuai town has jurisdiction over 33 administrative villages, and the people's Government of xiahuai town is located in Changshang village.

History of construction

In 1949, it belonged to xiaojue District of Jianping County.

In June 1956, Xiyu township was set up.

In July 1958, the Management Committee of xiaxiyu commune was established.

In September 1958, it was incorporated into Pingshan County.

In April 1968, it became the Revolutionary Committee of Xiyu commune.

In 1981, it was changed to pangjiapu township.

In August 1988, the township was withdrawn and merged into the town. Pangjiapu Township, xialiujiaping Township, bailing Township and Tangjiagou Township were merged to form xiahuai town.
