Paozi town

Paozi Town, subordinate to Fuxin Mongolian Autonomous County, is located in the east of the county, facing Zhangwu County across Raoyang River in the East and Heishan County in Jinzhou City in the south, with a total area of 198.93 square kilometers. In late 2018, the registered residence of Pao Zi town was 28736.

In 1928, the Dazheng railway station was set up here. Because there was a shuipaozi in the south of the village, the station was named paozi and Houzhen station was named after it. In the winter of 1947, paozi area was liberated, and it was divided into the Ninth District of Fuxin County. In 1956, the district was withdrawn and the township was built. In 1958, the village was merged. In November 1983, paozi commune was changed to township. In 1984, the township was transformed into a town. As of June 2020, there are 14 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of paozi Town, and the people's government is stationed in paozi village.

In 2018, there were 11 industrial enterprises and 85 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in paozi town.

Paozi town is located in the east of the county, facing Zhangwu County across Raoyang River in the East and Heishan County of Jinzhou City in the south. Its total area is 198.93 square kilometers.

topographic features

Paozi town is a hilly area in the west of Liaoning Province, the terrain gently inclines from northwest to Southeast, showing five layers of undulating terrain. Mountains, plains and depressions each account for one third of the total area. In the south, the highest point is Tashan, and the lowest point is mingjiahuang, Xinglong Mountain. The South depression is 54.5 meters above sea level, and the bottom of paozidi is 64.2 meters above sea level.

Name and origin

In 1928, the Dazheng railway station was set up here. Because there was a shuipaozi in the south of the village, the station was named paozi and Houzhen station was named after it.
