Gangzha Development Zone
Gangzha development zone is located in the north of Nantong City, with a total planning area of 12.09 square kilometers.
Nantong is one of the 14 coastal open cities opened to the outside world in 1984. It is located on the left bank of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, at the intersection of the Yangtze River and the Yellow Sea, across the river from Shanghai. It is a treasure land of geomantic omen, known as "the first window of the Yangtze River". Nantong Gangzha Economic Development Zone, located in the north of Nantong City, is a provincial development zone approved by the people's Government of Jiangsu Province, with a total planning area of 12.09 square kilometers. It is divided into two parts: the East and the west, of which the west is 9.9 square kilometers and the East is 2.19 square kilometers. Nantong Gangzha Economic Development Zone is characterized by superior location, convenient transportation, complete infrastructure and supporting preferential investment policies. Since its foundation was laid in January 1993, a large number of Chinese and foreign businessmen have settled in the zone. the Development Zone adheres to the principle of facing the world, the future, high standards, high starting point and creating first-class. With the goal of internationalization, modernization, comprehensiveness and openness, it will build an industrial system with high-tech electronics, fine chemicals, green food, machinery and light textile as the main body, and build a new modern urban area in the northwest of Nantong.
