Yongqin Township

Yongqin Township, subordinate to Baiquan County, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the west of Baiquan County, adjacent to Shizhong Township in the East, Fuqiang town in the south, Shuangyang Town in Yi'an County in the West and Fengchan Township in the north. The people's government is stationed in shuiqin village, 22.5 kilometers away from the county seat, with a total administrative area of 165 square kilometers.

At the end of Qing Dynasty, Yongqin Township belonged to "Li Zi tou Pai 16 wells" in Baiquan County; at the beginning of 1984, Yongqin people's commune was changed into Yongqin township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Yong Qin township was 22532. In 2019, eight administrative villages will be under the jurisdiction of Yongqin rural area, and the people's government will be stationed in shuiqin village.

History of construction

At the end of Qing Dynasty, Yongqin Township belonged to Baiquan County "Li Zi tou Pai 16 wells".

In 1925, some people came here to cultivate, so they called it "Sixteen wells". In 1931, democratic villages were established after the fall of Northeast China. In 1945, it was changed into a democratic village.

In 1949, it was changed into a labor district (District 14).

In March 1956, Yongqin township was set up.

In September 1958, it was renamed Yongqin people's commune.

At the beginning of 1984, the government and society were separated, and Yongqin people's commune was changed into Yongqin township.
