Chenggaozi town

Chenggaozi Town, subordinate to Xiangfang District of Harbin City, is located in the southeast of Xiangfang District, adjacent to Xiangyang Township in the East, Lixin street of Acheng District in the south, Xingfu town in the West and Xingfu town in the north, 11 kilometers away from the urban area. The administrative area of the town is 67.2 square kilometers, and in 2018, it was 36908 registered residence in the town.

In 1898, the Middle East Railway was set up as Gaozi station, hence its name. In 1949, Heping township was established first. In 1958, it was transformed into a peace management zone. In 1983, it was changed into Gaozi town. In April 1985, Heping Township and Gaozi street were merged. By the end of 2019, chenggaozi town has 5 communities and 8 administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 35 industrial enterprises in chenggaozi Town, including 7 industrial enterprises above Designated Size and 1 comprehensive store or supermarket with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution
