Hengdaohezi Township, belonging to Huadian City, Jilin Province, is located in the north of Huadian City, bordering huashulinzi Township in the East, huashulinzi Township in the southeast, badaohezi town in the south, badaohezi town in the West and Changshan town in the north. It is 45 kilometers away from Huadian municipal government and 280 kilometers away from Changchun City in the west, covering an area of 323.29 square kilometers.

In the 36th year of the Republic of China (1947), Hengdaohezi Township belonged to the Sixth District; in 1983, it was changed from Hengdaohezi commune to Hengdaohezi township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in the cross road township was 21599. As of June 2020, Hengdaohezi village has nine administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in Hengdaohezi village.
