It is the main battlefield of Ningxia poverty alleviation irrigation project. The scenic spots include Ningxia Immigration Museum, Tomb of Mingqing King Zhu, Luoshan National Nature Reserve, Yunqing temple, former site of xinzhuangji immigrants, etc.

Evolution of organizational system

In 2011, the government of the autonomous region approved the establishment of Xinmin sub district office, which will work together with Hongsipu town. Hongsibao District governs the streets. Xinmin Street co operates with Hongsipu Town, which has jurisdiction over five communities, namely, Chuangye, Zhenxing, Luoshan, Dongfang and Pengsheng, and 15 administrative villages, namely, Lihua, Tuanjie, Xingwang, Hongguan, Honghai, Guangcai, Chaoyang, Yuchi, Dongyuan, Shangyuan, zhongquantang, Hexing, lvkexin village, hongdeyi village and hongdeer village.

On March 18, 2014, Xinmin Street was officially established.
