Old street name. Baogong Street is located in the south of Tiexi District. It covers an area of 1.705 square kilometers and has a permanent population of 69354 (2010). Historical evolution

Xingqi commune and Baogong commune were established in 1958, and the streets were changed in 1978. In 1996, Baogong Street, with an area of 0.8 square kilometers and a population of 26000, governed 13 neighborhood committees; Xingqi street, with an area of 0.5 square kilometers and a population of 30000, governed 14 neighborhood committees, named after the ordinal number. In 2002, Baogong sub district office was located at No. 59 Baogong South Street, with a population of 14000 and an area of 0.76 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over six communities: Guangren, Jingru, Changchun, Kangning, Minqiang and Wenhua palace. Xingqi sub district office is located at No. 1A 12th Road, with a population of 21800 and an area of 0.45 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over six communities: Xingsheng, Hongwei, Xingda, xingle, Xingwang and Xingshun. In 2004, Xingqi street and Baogong Street merged to establish Xingqi Baogong Street. on December 2, 2019, Baogong Street was cancelled and its jurisdiction was divided into Xingshun Street.
