Dongying Fangxiang
Dongyingfang Township, subordinate to Benxi Manchu Autonomous County, Benxi City, Liaoning Province, is located in the eastern mountainous area of Benxi Manchu Autonomous County, adjacent to Huanren County in the East, Kuandian Manchu Autonomous County of Dandong City in the south, Jianchang town in the west, and Xinbin Manchu Autonomous County of Fushun City in the North. It covers an area of 410.35 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 12175 people registered residence in Dongying.
In February 1962, dongyingfang commune was established. On July 1, 1985, dongyingfang commune was changed into dongyingfang Manchu Township. On September 7, 1989, Benxi county established Manchu Autonomous County, and dongyingfang Manchu Township was renamed dongyingfang township. In 2006, villages Xinchengzi and nanyingfang of lanheyu Township were transferred to dongyingfang township. As of June 2020, dongyingfang township has jurisdiction over one community and eight administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in dongyingfang village.
In 2018, there were 7 industrial enterprises and 28 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Dongying Fangxiang.
Historical evolution
In the 36th year of the Republic of China (1947), the whole area of dongyingfang township was liberated, belonging to the soda plant area (the tenth area from 1947 to 1949). In April 1951, it was changed to District 7).
In June 1956, after the county was divided into small townships, dongyingfang and dongdayang townships were established in dongyingfang area.
On September 23, 1958, Dongfanghong commune of soda factory was established, merging three townships of soda factory, dongyingfang and lanheyu.
In February 1962, dongyingfang commune was established.
On July 1, 1985, dongyingfang commune was changed into dongyingfang Manchu Township.
On September 7, 1989, Benxi county established Manchu Autonomous County, and dongyingfang Manchu Township was renamed dongyingfang township.
In 2006, villages Xinchengzi and nanyingfang of lanheyu Township were transferred to dongyingfang township.

Taizi River in dongyingfang Township originates from caomaodingzi mountain in yanghugou village of dongyingfang Township, and its south tributary is 17.8 km higher than its north tributary.
