Suburban town

Suburban township, belonging to Suizhong County, Huludao City, Liaoning Province, is located at the junction of urban and rural areas of Suizhong County. It is 1km away from the people's Government of Suizhong County. It faces Dazhai Manchu Township of Xingcheng city across the river in the East, Shahe Town in the West and Gaotai town in the north, with an administrative area of 32.3 square kilometers.

In 1957, it merged with Suizhong Town, which is called Suizhong town; in 1982, it abolished suburban commune and established suburban township. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in the suburbs of the city was 22132. As of June 2020, suburban township has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located at No. 45, Section 2, Xinxing street, Suizhong town.

In 2018, there were 40 industrial enterprises in suburban areas, including 2 Enterprises above Designated Size and 47 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In 1956, Jianxiang was founded.

In 1957, it merged with Suizhong Town, which is called Suizhong town.

In 1961, Suizhong town commune was established.

In 1968, Suizhong commune reform committee was established.

In 1980, Suizhong town commune was in charge of Suizhong town commune and established Suizhong Town People's government and Suizhong County suburban commune respectively.

In 1982, suburban communes were abolished and suburban townships were established.
