Taochang Street

Old street name. Taochang sub district office is located in the northwest of Dadong District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. It is connected with Liaoshen street in the East, Dabei and Xiaobei streets in the south, Huanggu District in the West and Ertaizi sub district office in the north, with a total area of 1.75 square kilometers. Taochang commune was established in 1968, and its current name was changed in 1978. In 1996, it covers an area of 1.5 square kilometers and has a population of 37000. It is connected with Liaoshen street in the East, Dabei street and Xiaobei street in the south, Yuhong District in the West and Ertaizi street in the north, covering an area of 1.75 square kilometers. It governs five communities, namely Beihai, civil servants, Jixiang, Hezuo and Expo. In 2010, Tieling, Faku, Lishu and dabeiqiao communities in Liaoshen street were included. on December 2, 2019, taochang Street will be abolished, four communities of Beihai, Hezuo, Expo and civil servants under its jurisdiction will be included in Dabei street, and six communities of Jixiang, Lishu, Faku, dabeiqiao, Tieling and Ruyi will be included in Jinqiao street.
