Ganjun town
Ganjun town is subordinate to Ganzhou District, Zhangye City, Gansu Province. In the southwest of Ganzhou District, it lies on the West Bank of Heihe River in the East, Danxia scenic spot in the north foot of Qilian Mountain in the south, nijiaying township of Linze County and Baiyin township of Sunan County in the west, and Mingyong township of Ganzhou District in the north. It covers an area of 133.62 square kilometers. In 2018, the registered residence of Gan Jun town was 23040.
In September 1958, ganjun commune was established. In 1967, it was changed into July 1 commune. In 1983, it was changed to ganjun township. In 1999, the township was removed and the town was built. In 2004, Xidong township was merged into ganjun town. As of June 2020, ganjun town has jurisdiction over 17 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in ganjun village.
In 2018, there were 5 industrial enterprises and 40 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in ganjun town.
