Kulun town

Kulun Town, belonging to Kulun banner, Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the middle of Kulun banner, 144 kilometers southwest of Tongliao City. It is connected with kezuohou banner in the East, sibuzi Township in Zhangwu County, Liaoning Province in the southeast and pingandi Township in Fuxin Mongolian Autonomous County across houhen River in the south, Baiyinhua town in the southwest, Liujiazi town in the West and erlshun town in the north. The area is 1236.86 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Kulun town was 41147.

In 1946, the Chengxiang District of Kulun banner was established. In 1951, it was changed to Kulun street people's government. In 1956, it was changed into the people's Government of Kulun town. In 1968, it was changed to Kulun town government. As of June 2020, Kulun town has 55 administrative villages.

By the end of 2018, there were 9 industrial enterprises in Kulun Town, and 96 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

In 1946, the Chengxiang District of Kulun banner was established.

In 1951, it was changed to Kulun street people's government.

In 1956, it was changed into the people's Government of Kulun town.

In 1968, it was changed to Kulun town government.

In 1969, it was included in Jilin Province with Zhelimu League.

In 1974, six production teams were set up in Kulun town to establish Yuanbaoshan commune.

In 1979, it returned to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

In August 1984, Yuanbaoshan commune merged into Kulun town.

In December 2000, Nailin drafted Sumu and put it into Kulun town.

In June 2006, the former Sanjiazi town and the former haerjen Sumu town were put into storage.
