Yongning Town is the fourth regiment town of alar city. Previously, alar city of the first division established jinyinchuan Town, Shuangcheng Town and Shahe Town, with "one city and four towns". To realize the complete integration of division city area and management.

Evolution of organizational system

On July 1, 2018, on the occasion of the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, Yongning Town, the fourth regiment of alar city, the first division was officially established. It marks that alar city of the first division has fully realized the jurisdiction of the division and the city. The predecessor of the 4th regiment is the 1st Battalion of the 718th regiment of the 359 brigade of the 120th division of the 8th Route Army, adjacent to Wushi County, bordering on Tianshan Mountain in the north and the Kyrgyz Republic, facing Qianjin town of Wushi county with toshken River in the West and tumuxuek town of Wensu county with Kunmalike River in the East. It is 250 km away from alar, 120 km away from Aksu and 45 km away from Wushi county. The area under the league's jurisdiction is 615000 mu, with a total population of more than 8400. For more than 60 years, the staff and workers of all ethnic groups in the fourth regiment have always carried forward the spirit of 359 brigade, served as a good frontier guard and ecological guard, and actively promoted national unity and military local integration.
