Chiying town

Chiying town is located 5 kilometers south of Xihua county, adjacent to Piying and Dawangzhuang in the East, Huangqiao in the west, yebukou across the river in the south, Chengguan town in the north, and zhouzheng and Dengfu highways. Jialu River in the East, Yinghe River in the southwest, shuanglanggou running through the north and south. The total area is 53.03 square kilometers (2017), with 54660 mu of cultivated land.

Historical evolution

Chiying commune was established in 1965 and township was changed in 1984. In 1997, it covers an area of 83 square kilometers and has a population of 42000. On November 14, 2018, with the approval of the people's Government of Henan Province, chiying town was established to implement the system of town governing village.

Chiying town has 23 administrative villages, 86 natural villages and 172 villager groups.
