Liming town

Liming Town, belonging to Zhaodong City, Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the southeast of Zhaodong city and the middle of Songnen Plain. It is connected with Wuzhan town in the East, Laozhou town in the south, wuliming town in the West and Jiangjia town in the north. The area is 203.71 square kilometers. In 2018, there were 40071 registered residence population.

In 1902, it was named Zhang bingxu's Wopeng village. In 1932, it was named shaoguotun of Zhoujia and set up Lanting village. In the 28th year of the Republic of China (January 1939), zhoujiashaoguotun was renamed lantingtun. In 1946, Lanting village was changed into two districts. In March 1956, it changed its name to Lanting District, with jurisdiction over Lanting and Minzhu township. In June 1958, it belonged to the Democratic commune. In April 1961, liming commune was established. In 1984, the commune was transformed into a township. As of October 2019, liming town has 14 administrative villages.
