Xingshan town

Xingshan Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Longjiang County, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the southwest of Longjiang County, adjacent to touzhan Township in the East, chuoer River in zalaite banner of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the south, bayanzalaga Township in zalaite banner of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the west, and Jingxing town in the north. The total administrative area is 674.96 square kilometers. In 2019, Xingshan town governs 16 administrative villages. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Xing Shan town was 41206.

In 2018, there were five industrial enterprises in Xingshan Town, including one above scale and 117 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 55 square meters.

Historical evolution

In 1946, it belonged to Jingxing county.

In 1956, Xingshan and Donghua townships were set up, belonging to Longjiang County.

In 1958, liujiushan township was merged into Xingshan commune with Xianrendong township.

In 1960, it was divided into Xingshan and Donghua communes.

In 1984, Xingshan commune was transformed into Xingshan township.

In 2001, Donghua township was merged into Yaoshan township.

Around 2017, Xingshan township was changed to Xingshan town.

At the end of 2011, it has jurisdiction over 17 villages, including Xingshan, xiliujiu, houliujiu, qianliujiu, dongliujiu, Liuhe, houliujiazi, Jianshui, Taipingzhuang, dongxingshan, xiliujiazi, Xinnong, Xishantou, donghekou, Donghua, sihetang and Xianrendong.

In 2019, Xingshan town has 16 administrative villages: Xingshan village, dongliujiu village, dongxingshan village, xiliujiu village, Liuhe village, Jianshui village, qianliujiu village, Taipingzhuang village, houliujiu village, houliujiazi village, Xianrendong village, donghekou village, sihetang village, xiliujiazi village, Xishantou village, Donghua village and new countryside. The people's government is stationed in Xingshan village.

Xingshan town is high in the northwest and low in the southeast. The 10 villages in the northwest are hilly areas, and the rest are flat and open with gentle undulation. Haiji, the highest point in the territory, is 478 meters.

climate

Xingshan town belongs to temperate monsoon climate, which is characterized by distinct cold, warm, dry and wet seasons. In winter, under the control of polar continental air mass, the climate is cold and dry: strong wind in spring, less rainfall, easy to dry early; concentrated southward in summer, warm climate; sharp cooling in autumn, often frost.

Xingshan Town River belongs to Nenjiang River Basin, there are two rivers, namely, handahan River and chuoer river. Among them, the hadahan river flows into the Yalu River and flows into the Nenjiang River.
