Hongxing Town, Horqin district, Tongliao City is located in the east of Horqin district. The town government governs 15 administrative villages in the urban area, covering an area of 37 square kilometers, with a population of 22374 and 6594 households. The town has 28770 mu of arable land and 1733 mu of shed area, with an annual output of 350 million jin of vegetables, especially famous, excellent, special and light vegetables.

Hongxing town has convenient transportation and extends in all directions. Tongliao Railway Station, 1km away from the town, has dozens of passenger and freight trains going in and out from six directions every day, which can directly reach more than ten large and medium-sized cities such as Beijing and Shanghai.
