Xuecun town

Xuecun Town, Liulin County, is located on the East Bank of the Yellow River and the Bank of Sanchuan River. It connects Mucun Town, the terminal station of Xiaoyi railway in the East, Wubao County Bridge in Shaanxi Province across the Yellow River in the west, Sanjiao Town, the first town of Chinese jujube in the South, mengmen town in the north, 307 National Road, Lijun Expressway and Taiyuan Zhongyin railway, passing through the town. It has convenient transportation, large flow of people and property, and wide material exchange.

Xuecun town is located on the East Bank of the Yellow River and both sides of the Sanchuan River, 10km west of Liulin County. It was merged by the former Jundu Township and Xuecun Township when it was merged in 2001. The town covers an area of 88.6 square kilometers, with 19 administrative villages (46 natural villages), 7846 households and 18428 people (2017), 4 poverty-stricken villages and 656 poverty-stricken households and 1896 people. The town has 23 party branches with 822 party members (including 703 rural Party members and 5 before the founding of the people's Republic of China). Since 2006, with the development and construction of Gaohong Circular Industrial Economic Park, the popularity of the whole town has increased significantly. Lianshan coal mine and Jinshan coal washing plant have been built in the park, and Hongguang 2 × 30KV coal gangue power plant has been put into operation, which has laid a solid foundation for the development of town economy and injected strong vitality.
