Shentangbao Township

Shentangbao township is located in the southeast of Fanshi County, with a total area of 420.93 square kilometers. In 2002, the Township Institutional Reform merged Zhuangwang Township and shentangbao Township into shentangbao Township, which has 48 administrative villages and 5 natural villages under its jurisdiction. The resident population was 7136 (2017).

Shentangbao township is a mountainous area with a large drop. The highest altitude is 2230 meters, and the lowest altitude is 680 meters, which is the lowest level of the county. There are two main rivers, one is Qingyang River, which originates from the foot of dongtaiding in Wutai. It is one of the most upstream tributaries of Daqing River System in Haihe River Basin. The other is Dasha River, which originates from baipotou village, HENGJIAN township. The two rivers merge into one through shentangbao village and leave the country at cigouying village to Fuping County, Hebei Province, where they belong to Daqing River.

The historic sites of shentangbao Township include Hanzhuang great wall and provincial key protected cultural relics yingguan city.

The mineral resources of shentangpu Township mainly include iron, gold, mica, granite, quartz, feldspar, etc.
