Xincheng town is located in the northeast of Shiping County, 27 kilometers away from the county. Xincheng township is located in mountainous and valley areas, with the highest altitude of 2125 meters and the lowest altitude of 1242 meters. The medical and health work is quite backward before liberation, and there is no medical institution in the whole administrative region. With a health center and 19 employees, the rural cooperative medical system has been actively and steadily promoted, and the people's health has been continuously improved.
