Chengdong township of Mingshan district is located in the northeast of Mingshan City, adjacent to Xindian town in the East, Wangu and Jianshan townships in the north, Zhongli and Bifengxia towns in Yucheng District, and Mengyang town and mengdingshan town in the south. The landform is mainly flat dam, with high and medium hills, shallow hills, crisscross ditches and channels, and low mountains distributed in the western edge. Most of the rivers and ditches come out of the region, and the source is short. The climate type is subtropical monsoon humid climate, abundant rainfall, less sunshine, long frost free period, four seasons suitable for farming.
