Wufeng town
Wufeng Town, subordinate to Huzhu Tu Autonomous County, Haidong City, Qinghai Province, is located in the northwest of Huzhu Tu Autonomous County, adjacent to Weiyuan town and Taizi Township in the East, Xishan Township in the south, Datong County in the west, Nanmenxia town in the north, about 12 kilometers away from the county. It is the west gate of Huzhu County, with a total area of 88.35 square kilometers.
In 1945, Wenfeng township was renamed Wufeng township. In August 2006, Wufeng township was changed to Wufeng town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of five peaks was 23909. In 2019, Wufeng town governs one community and 18 administrative villages.
In 2018, Wufeng town has 5 industrial enterprises and 50 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1945, Wenfeng township was renamed Wufeng township.
In February 1955, 12 districts in the county changed their names, and the second district was wufengsi district.
On October 18, 1956, wufengsi district was replaced by Wufeng township.
In August 2006, Wufeng township was changed to Wufeng town.

In 2011, Wufeng town has jurisdiction over one community of Wufeng Town, including 18 administrative villages of Shangzhuang, Xinzhuang, Shangma, Xiama 1, Xiama 2, chenjiatai, zhuanzui, qita'er, cangjiagou, Zhigao, Xinglong, Najia, Pingfeng, baiduo'e, Shiwan, Beigou, Houtougou and Haizi, and 124 agricultural production cooperatives.
In 2019, Wufeng town governs one community in Wufeng Town, including 18 administrative villages including Shangzhuang village, Beigou village, cangjia village, Haizi village, Houtougou village, Najia village, Pingfeng village, qita'er village, Shangma village, Xiama first village, Xiama second village, Shiwan village, Xinzhuang village, Xinglong Village, Zhigao village, zhuanzui village, baiduo'e village and chenjiatai village.

Wufeng town is a semi shallow and semi brain area, with an average altitude of 2561 meters. The landform is mainly high mountains, high in the north and low in the south. Most of the surface is covered with Quaternary loess with a thickness of tens of meters. On both sides of the valley, the Tertiary red soil has been eroded, showing the erosion landform of the Middle Loess Plateau, with broken terrain, large slopes, deep ditches and rolling hills.

Wufeng town has a continental plateau climate; due to the complex terrain and uneven distribution of heat resources, the general trend of temperature distribution is to increase with the decrease of altitude from north to south. The average annual temperature is 3 ℃ - 3.5 ℃, and the average annual precipitation is 480-550 mm. The area is dry and windy in spring, cold in winter and mild in summer. Wufeng town has thin atmosphere, dry air, good transparency and less rainfall.

History and culture
Wufeng town is named after the mountain peak where Wufeng temple is located, which is shaped like five fingers stretched out by people.
Wufeng town has provincial cultural relics protection units, such as Cayo culture douerjia yinpo site, Cayo culture Tang Wangshi jinjiatai site and Wufeng temple. Wufeng temple is located in baiduo'e village. It was built in 1642, the 15th year of Chongzhen in Ming Dynasty. It is a Taoist temple. In 1986, Wufeng temple was designated as a provincial cultural relic protection unit by the provincial people's government.
