On December 18, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Aba Prefecture to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in 10 counties (cities), including malkang city (cfzm [2019] No. 22): marbang Township and Manai Township were abolished and Manai town was established. The administrative area of Manai town was the former marbang Township and MaNai township. The MaNai Town People's government was located at No. 87, group 2, bajiaotang village.
