Qiujiang street is located in Guichi District, Chizhou City, Anhui Province. The office was formally established in February 2007. It is composed of Puqing village, Xingfu village, Zhujia village, Minsheng village, Tongxin village, Xinhe village, Wanbao village, donggeng village, Gutang village, liantai village, Sanlian Village, Ruanqiao community, Meili community and gaojiling community

General situation

Qiujiang street is located on the South Bank of the Yangtze River. It is adjacent to Qiupu River in the East, Huangjin waterway in the north, and a strip of water with Chizhou City. With convenient transportation and beautiful ecological environment, it is known as the "land of fish and rice". The coastline of the Yangtze river reaches 20 kilometers, and the coastline resources are ready to develop. The whole street covers an area of 122 square kilometers, with 11 administrative villages, 3 neighborhood committees, 532 villager groups, 16000 households, a total population of 52976 (in 2010), and a population of nearly 25000 engaged in the primary industry. The residents are mainly Han nationality, and the minority nationalities are Hui, Miao, Buyi, Tujia, etc. There are 4 junior middle schools, 13 complete primary schools and 20 primary schools, 2 health centers and 2 hospitals. There are 10000 mu of pollution-free vegetable bases, 10000 mu of selenium rich rice bases, 4 breeding bases, 3 farmers' cooperative organizations and 2 provincial leading enterprises in agricultural industrialization. The street is a Polder Area, mainly for agriculture, known as the "land of fish and rice". It mainly grows rice, cotton, rape and so on. Huaze industry and trade and Qiujiang cotton have become leading enterprises of agricultural industrialization. Meili Industrial Park has 36 enterprises (including 9 large-scale enterprises, 6 new large-scale enterprises and 19 built and put into operation), which was awarded the "2008 Standard Industrial Development Award" by the district Party committee and the district government, and the "2008 advanced unit for cultivating strong economic towns" by the municipal Party committee and the municipal government.

In 2008, Chizhou municipal Party committee and municipal government listed Qiujiang street as a key support strong street. The Party Working Committee and office of Qiujiang Street took this opportunity to further emancipate the mind, innovate the mechanism, consolidate the platform, attract investment, strive to build an economic strong street and realize the great leap of economic society. The economic advantages of the streets and suburbs are remarkable. The planting of vegetables, watermelons, lotus roots, water bamboo, water chestnut and other economic crops has become a scale, with nearly 5000 mu of greenhouse vegetables and 3000 mu of watermelon. Breeding industry is mainly livestock and aquatic products. After several years of development, it has basically formed the production, processing and demonstration base of grain, cotton and oil, vegetable supply base and characteristic breeding production and processing base. There are 12000 mu of selenium rich rice base, 5500 mu of vegetable base, 3150 mu of lobster breeding land, 5000 mu of aquatic product base, and 4 farmers' cooperative organizations. One provincial leading enterprise of agricultural industrialization, one municipal leading enterprise of agricultural industrialization, and one production enterprise with pollution-free agricultural products certification were added.

The streets are close to the river and the city, and the infrastructure construction is becoming more and more perfect. The coastline of the Yangtze River is 20 kilometers long, and the resources of the coastline are ready to develop. Guicha highway passes through the streets, and all the village roads have been completed. The road construction of market towns has formed a pattern, the greening level has been further improved, the environmental sanitation management has been further standardized, and the tap water, program-controlled telephone and cable TV have been connected to every village, and the mobile signal has been fully covered. With the implementation of the comprehensive agricultural development and land consolidation project, the agricultural production conditions have been further improved. There are 24 enterprises in Meili industrial zone and liantai community, which are 3km away from Chicheng. They are mainly building materials, machinery, clothing, agricultural and sideline products processing industries. The key enterprises include: Qiling ecological food, Qiujiang cotton industry, Changxing metal manufacturing, Huaze industry and trade, Jiuhua food, xiangsai foundry, etc. The cultural, educational and health undertakings in the streets have formed a certain foundation. There are 4 junior middle schools, 13 completed primary schools and 20 junior primary schools, 2 health centers, 1 hospital and 2 homes for the aged in the whole street, which provide for 33 households with five guarantees. More than 80% of the villagers participate in the new cooperative medical system. The level of population and family planning services in the streets has been continuously improved, social security is good, street politics is stable, and the people live and work in peace and contentment. In line with the concept of convenience and service for the masses, Qiujiang Street established the administrative service hall in June 2007, and set up liantai service point and family planning service station, which solved the problem of the masses' running difficulties and greatly improved the efficiency. In the future work, the street will take economic construction as the center, serve the masses as the purpose, take the satisfaction of the masses as the standard, and take the convenience of the masses as the purpose.
