Daxing Township

Daxing Township, also known as daxingchang, is located in the northwest of Lichuan City, Enshi Prefecture, Hubei Province. It is adjacent to Longju town in the north, Modao town in the East, Jiannan town in the West and Luotian town in the south, covering an area of 13.1 square kilometers. Yumu village is under the jurisdiction of Daxing rural area. It has the reputation of "the best Tujia village in the world" and "the most beautiful Liangdu in Hubei". In summer, the average temperature is 22 ℃. It is the hometown of natural air conditioning.

The township is a combination of Nongke village, Caoping village, Shamao village, Yumu village, yangziping village and Caoping village. Yumuzhai Yumuzhai, the most well preserved Tujia mountain village in China, is located at the junction of Hubei and Chongqing. It is 61 kilometers east of Lichuan City, surrounded by cliffs.
