Taka Yi nationality township
Taka Yi nationality township is a township under the jurisdiction of Jiulong County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. In the early Qing Dynasty, there were 100 households in shakatu, and the Taka Yi township was located in the southeast of the county, 39 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 268.09 square kilometers and has a population of 4540 (2017). It has jurisdiction over four village committees: Er shop, Jia shop, Hua Jiao Ping and Hekou.
Taka Yi nationality township is located in the southeast of the county, bordering Sanya Township and Duoluo Township in the East, wulaxi Township in the southwest, naiqu Township in the West and xieka Township in the north. Township government in Er baozi village, 2210 meters above sea level, about 70 kilometers away from the county. The township administers four administrative villages, including er'erbuzi, jia'baozi, huajiaoping and Hekou, and 19 villager groups.
In December 2019, Taka Yi Township and xieka township will be abolished and xuewalong town will be established. The administrative region of former Taka Yi Township and xieka township will be the administrative region of xuewalong town.
Historical evolution
In 1957, it set up the Taka township; in 1973, it changed into a commune; in 1984, it returned to the township; in the same year, it set up the Taka Yi township. in December 2019, the Taka Yi Township and xieka township will be abolished and the xuewalong town will be established. The administrative area of the former Taka Yi Township and xieka township will be the administrative area of xuewalong town.

The main agricultural products are corn, potato and wheat, and the main animal husbandry is sheep and cattle. The local specialty is lacquer. Local products include Cordyceps, Fritillaria, rhubarb, Aucklandia and other traditional Chinese medicine, as well as lacquer, Zanthoxylum, Auricularia, konjac.

The township is high in the north and low in the south, surrounded by mountains on both sides of the East and the West. Taka river flows through the whole area from north to South and flows into Jiulong River near Pianqiao in wulaxi township. The township is divided into East and west parts. Farmers mainly live on both sides of Taka river. The highest altitude is 4946 meters, and the lowest is 2200 meters. It belongs to warm temperate zone, cool temperate zone, cold zone, subtropical zone and cold zone. The annual average temperature is 15.9 ℃, the annual precipitation is 950mm, and the frost free period is 256 days. The main disasters are drought, hail, flood, flood, debris flow, wind disaster and so on. Grain production is two crops a year. Wheat, pea, Hu Dou, soybean and highland barley are mainly produced in spring, while corn, potato, buckwheat and highland barley are mainly produced in spring.
