Xin'andian town is located at the intersection of Tongbai and Funiu Mountains. Beijing Shenzhen highway (107) National Highway and Beijing Guangzhou railway run through the whole town. The traffic is very convenient.

In July 2020, it won the honorary title of national health Township from 2017 to 2019.

The town has a total area of 91.3 square kilometers, 11 administrative villages, a population of 24209, and 48167 mu of arable land. The town was built in the late Ming Dynasty, is an ancient town. The annual average temperature is 15 ℃ and the annual precipitation is 800mm. The soil is clay. Since 1996, the per capita income of farmers has reached 1789 yuan.

The terrain of xin'andian town is high in the South and low in the north, with low-lying in the middle, 30% hills, 50% plains and 20% depressions. The larger Laojun Mountain and granny mountain in the territory are the remaining veins of Tongbai mountain. Zhentou river flowing through the territory is connected with Boshan scenic spot on the top and Suya Lake scenic spot on the bottom. Rich in water resources, it is the key irrigation area of Boshan reservoir. It is famous for its high quality rice. The average temperature of the whole town is about 15 ℃, the average temperature in January is 2 ℃, the average temperature in July is 28 ℃, the frost free period is 225 days, and the average annual rainfall is about 1000-1100 mm, mostly concentrated in summer.
