Yangba Town, belonging to Kang County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the south of Kang County, connecting Lianghe town in the East, yanzibian town and anlehe town in Ningqiang County, Shaanxi Province in the south, Wuma town and Yuhe town in Wudu District in the southwest, Tongqian town and sanheba town in the North, 82 kilometers away from Kang County, with a total area of 500.05 square kilometers.

In December 1949, Yangba town belonged to Yangba district; in June 2005, Tuohe Township and Taiping Township were merged into Yangba town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Yang Ba town was 11953. As of June 2020, Yangba town has one community and 34 administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 15 industrial enterprises in Yangba Town, including 2 above scale and 2 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters. On July 24, 2019, Yangba town was selected into the list of strong agricultural towns in 2019.

History of construction

In December 1949, the new political power of Kangxian county was established, and Yangba district was set up.

In 1953, it was changed into the third district, with jurisdiction over Yangba, Luanshan, Longtan and Meiyuan townships.

In 1955, the four townships were merged into Yangba Township and Longtan Township.

In 1958, during the period of Kangwu County, it was called Yangba commune in Kangning.

In December 1983, Yangba commune was transformed into Yangba township.

In September 1985, Yangba township was changed into Yangba town.

In June 2005, Tuohe Township and Taiping Township were merged into Yangba town.
